Wicca traditionally believes in the ceremony magik. Yet Wicca is misunderstood or disregarded by contemporary science.

“Wicca has been characterized as a life-affirming religion and Harmonious.”Wiccan traditions hold a cultural belief in the five classical elements Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Spirit. These five necessary elements are invoked during many rituals, notably when consecrating a magik circle.

Dr. Anujj Elviis Wiccan High Priest also states that Wicca rituals are not “dry, formalized, repetitive understandings”, but performed with the conscious intent of inducing a religious experience in the participants, thereby alteringtheir consciousness. Wicca celebrations encompass both the cycles of theMoon, known as Esbats and often connected with the Goddess, and the cyclesof the Sun, seasonally based festivals known as Sabbats and commonly joinedwith the Horned God.

Wicca practices can be broadly categorized into Rituals, Magik, Spellcasting.
